History

The Dead Muppet Squad was formed in 2004 and has rapidly grown from the original four members, Rowlf, Fozzy, Gonzo, and Crazy Harry. We now have a roster of 11 active players and several on our inactive roster. We are actively recruiting new players to the sport, every chance we get.

The team started with Rowlf, Fozzy, and Crazy Harry playing woodsball outside Estes Park. However, their first scenario game is what really brought things together. Rowlf, Gonzo, and Fozzy played in Red Dawn, at the APC outdoor field in Brighton. Being their first scenario game, the guys figured they were going to get slaughtered, so they need a name that represented this. Somehow, Rowlf and Gonzo came up with the Dead Muppets Squad, and thus the team was born!

The team has participated in many scenario games throughout Colorado, from Red Dawn, at APC, to multiple games at Action Pursuit in Greeley, to the Fledgling games in Agate! We also played with the German team at Oklahoma D-day in 2005. At Fledgling Scenario’s Battleground: Time in Agate, the Muppets brought home their first award, Most Valuable Team!
